Veteran's Support
A Holistic Approach to Address the
Unique Needs of Veterans
As a proud mother of two active-duty military sons, and daughter of a military veteran father, I understand and admire your choice to serve our country. It is truly meaningful to me! In appreciation for your service, it is my heart felt wish and goal to assist YOU, and every other veteran in need, by helping you live with inner peace and the highest possible quality of life.

“I would be honored to help you!”

The Healing Journey
As a Veteran, you have been placed in situations where you have seen, experienced, and endured more than the average human being. Those experiences may have resulted in difficulty sleeping, disturbing images that bother you day or night, and difficulty with concentration or staying focused on a task. You may have become disinterested in activities that you previously enjoyed or you may be ruminating on questions that never get answered.

You may be feeling “OK” for the most part, or perhaps you have learned how to compartmentalize, suppress, or manage unbearable thoughts and emotions through avoidance, disassociation or by other (sometimes destructive) means of coping.
You may have been helped by doctors, counselors, clergy, friends, and other support people to overcome injury, stress and even trauma from your time serving and thereafter. Yet something inside you might intuitively know that there is still a need to improve. When experiences happen that impact many areas of someone’s life, the healing process sometimes happens in layers. You may be fortunate that your intuition is telling you to move forward on your healing journey, but the journey can be difficult and confusing. I’m here to help!

Julie's Approach

Healing One Layer at a Time
Through a life-long journey of my own, I have developed Mind Body processes that access another layer of the story - another layer of healing. This is not a cure all or magic, but it could be one significant step in your overall healing journey that makes a positive impact in your life.
We Don’t Relive Traumatic Experiences
My approach is to not talk-therapy, psychoanalysis, or medical-type treatment. It is to address specific challenges you may still be facing while adjusting to day-to-day life. I view these adjustments from a life purpose perspective. On this path I look at mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of who you are without forcing you to dive into the memory of the issue or talk about traumatic experiences of your past.

You Have a Purpose
I view you as a spiritual being with a purpose. Understanding and clarifying why you are here, why you served and the unique situations you have experiences can help answer some questions that may be circulating in your mind. I have found that attaining insights into the purpose of your life can help calm the mind, influence brain chemistry, produce greater feelings of inner peace and help the body heal itself from physical, mental/emotional and spiritual burdens.
YOU have Proudly served OUR country! It is my turn to put out my hand to help you and to let you know – YOU ARE NOT ALONE!
